The National Post of Oct. 24, 2018 ran the following as its front page headline:

In the article below the headline our prime minister Justin Trudeau is quoted: “Starting next year, it will no longer be free to pollute anywhere in Canada.”

The truth is that, starting last week, Canadians are now free to legally pollute their lungs, their brains, and the air in their neighbourhoods, with marijuana smoke.

Trudeau’s mother Margaret said she had to completely give up marijuana due to her struggle with mental illness. (But of course now she supports her son in his legalization of what was destroying her.)

Two weeks ago the B.C. government mailed us information cards advising how harmful marijuana is because, even up to age 25, young brains are still forming.

By “pollution,” Trudeau actually meant carbon dioxide. He statement was intended to promote his carbon taxing system. But carbon dioxide is not a pollutant, it’s plant food.

Maybe Justin doesn’t realize that in fact, smoking marijuana produces CO2! (And a whole lot of other, more toxic, real pollutants besides.)
