  • Gerda Peachey    Bob Marley would be right in his sentiments, if mere mortals ultimately are in the business of passing judgment one one another. Some may appear better or nicer than others, but we all fall short of God’s standard of holiness, which is why Jesus Christ died to pay for the sins of the world.

But we will be judged as to whether we accepted that free gift of eternal life, offered through His death on the cross. It is a good thing to judge ourselves rightly now because at death we will meet our creator and the only just judge who ever existed.

“Let the sea roar, and all that fills it; the world and those who dwell in it! Let the floods clap their hands; let the hills sing for joy together before the Lord, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity.”
