The eye, your eyesight. . . elucidates — even more than was already understood — that our eyes are marvels of design!

This (again!) vitiates a well-known evolutionary argument from “suboptimal design” (dysteleology).

“Understand, O dullest of the people!

Fools, when will you be wise?

He who planted the ear, does he not hear?

He who formed the eye, does he not see?

He who chastens the nations, does he not chastise?

He who teaches men knowledge, the Lord, knows the thoughts of man,

that they are but a breath.”

“Great and wonderful are thy deeds,

O Lord God the Almighty!

Just and true are they ways,

O King of the ages!

Who shall not fear and glorify they name, O Lord?

For thou alone art holy.

All nations shall come and worship thee,

for thy judgments have been revealed.”:
